Unusually I’ve been painting daily throughout the winter, which reminded me how challenging it is to work in low light and a freezing studio - back to the old student days! At the time of writing I’m excited to say I have a piece showing in the Royal Society of British Artists’ Annual Open Exhibition this March. I’m also thrilled to finally be launching a new set of special edition prints, with eight new images added to the collection - these will be live on my website for purchasing later in February.
I’m also delighted to say I’ll be appearing on a TV screen near you this February with the fantastic Rick Stein on his third series of Rick Stein’s Cornwall. We spent a wonderful morning sketching and talking all things art, including the importance of Cornwall in providing inspiration for my work. Catch me in Episode 6 on Monday 20th at 6.30pm where hopefully I’ll be sounding sound vaguely coherent!
