Covering a range of drawing and painting techniques, alongside step-by-step demonstrations, Hannah provides an in-depth discussion of how to combine her methods to produce bold and energetic work through the lens of sketchbooks. Follow the exercises provided to gain confidence in experimenting with a looser style.

The course is suitable for beginners as well as more established artists as it offers a range of tips and techniques that can be adapted according to experience. Filmed in the studio and out at different locations it is divided into three parts – Drawing, Painting and Further Planning – with exercises in each section that guide you through to completion. Approaching three hours of total viewing time, the intention is for students to spend 4-5 days completing the exercises and to take away the building blocks needed for developing their own practice longer term.

A comprehensive list of materials needed is available upon purchase, but these include watercolour and gouache paints, soft pastels, pencil and graphite sets and recommended sketchbooks and paper types.
