September and October see autumn’s palette arrive and in harmony with this I’m delighted to release Volume II of my limited edition hardback book of sketches. Drenched in an orange-ochre cover reminiscent of the falling leaves, the book features my travels into the landscapes and seascapes of Devon and Cornwall. Sketching continues to be my first and most immediate connection with nature, a visual form of note taking that allows for amassing thoughts and planning paintings in a spontaneous, personal way. I very much hope you enjoy this new compendium.
I’m also thrilled to announce that I have two works featuring in the 2025 Discerning Eye Exhibition at the Mall Galleries, London this November 14 – 23rd. This is a fantastic and diverse show of smaller works covering all media and it’s well worth a visit if you’re nearby. My pieces are urban reflections of London’s famous Regent’s Canal.
