Late Summer News

As Summer draws to a close it’s been a very inspirational season down here in Cornwall. We’ve had our fair share of weird weather, from baking hot days to torrential downpours, but all of this is grist to the mill for a landscape painter. A very successful Open Studios weekend in May introduced more people to Grays Wharf our new waterside gallery and studios complex in Penryn where I work and forced me into cleaning the studio! I’m pleased to say we’ve now filled all our remaining studios and desk spaces and I’m extremely proud to be part of such a successful, thriving cultural community. This Summer I’ve been showing smaller collections of work at various galleries around the country and I’m looking forward to updating you on some new mixed exhibitions in the Autumn…In the meantime I’ve been able to stage a window display in our lovely roadside gallery here at Grays Wharf to catch the passers by.
